| ASICS® was founded on the belief that the best
way to create a healthy and happy lifestyle is to promote
sports. In fact, their name is an acronym from the
famous Latin phrase "Anima Sana In Corpore Sano," which
translates, "A Sound Mind in a Sound Body." Originating
in Kobe, Japan over fifty years ago, ASICS® products
were introduced to the United States in 1977. They
brought with them an incredible story of athletic performance
and technical advancements. A philosophy which still
holds true today. |

| Founded by Henry Dunker at the end of the 19th century,
Tretorn was an innovator in footwear from the moment
it was launched. Having built up a reputation for dependability
and discreet luxury with its iconic rubber boots, Tretorn
was also the first company to launch the pressureless
tennis ball. The company's association with life on and
off court rapidly created something of a cult following
surrounding the brand, a status which was firmly secured
when Wimbledon winners took to the grass in Tretorn in
the 1970s. Inspired by the high profile and success of
the brand, Tretorn's canvas and leather Nylites were
the only shoe in which to be seen wearing on North American
campuses throughout the 1980s. Lean and understated,
Tretorn's simple sneaker was the first luxury sports
shoe on the market. |
